Nostalgia πŸ™Œ

imageI read this book when I was fourteen and remember feeling so awed and changed when I finished it. It’s remained in my mind and today, I thought about it and was so glad that I was able to find it again.

I am so greatful to the escape that books gave to me during my teenage years because in more ways than I fathom, they’ve contributed in shaping who I am today and the way I think. They encouraged me to be different, to want more, and to be more. They kept me, and made me dream and for that I will forever be awed by them.

Books truly are magic, because even when you don’t know who you are, they show you the choices of who you can be.

Today is the first time that I even realized who the author of this book was, and I am saying ‘Thank you Catherine Anderson for helping me survive my teenage years.”
